Jena didn’t get back into the game even after the substitution and had weaknesses in defense. Frankfurt continues to be successful with threes – 39:60 in the middle of the third quarter. Frankfurt was divided and Jena was left with no answer. Only with a 9:2 run at the end of the third quarter did the Jena team get a little closer to 53:72, but the Frankfurt team continued to sink their threes – in the end it was 17, five Frankfurters scored in double figures.
