I quattrozampe Noodle e Quirky protagonists of maxi operation territory control carried out on Monday afternoon of the local police in public housing in via Marie Curie, piazza Trento e Trieste, via Curiel and in the gardens of Villa Zorn. Four crews in action, three of which in uniform and one in plain clothes, together with 2 motorcyclists with the new motorcycles supplied and the two quadrupeds of the dog unit, combed the areas of the city with the aim of preventing illicit activities and combat incidents of crime.
During the checks the Local agents have approximately 10 grams of hashish seized e reported three people for drug consumption, three others were identified and reported for causing panic on Sunday evening by brandishing a baseball bat in the street.
“Noodle and his four-legged “colleague” Quirky gave a big hand to the Local Police in carrying out territorial control operations – explained the mayor Roberto Di Stefano -. With the help of these fantastic German shepherds and our officers riding the new Local Police motorbikes, Sesto San Giovanni is increasingly safer. The safety of our city is our priority.”
Since the beginning of the year, the Local Police has reported 16 people to the Judicial Authority for drug dealing, one of whom was arrested, and seized a total of around 800 grams of drugs.
