Fluminense Squad Given Three Days Off After Qualifying for Round of 16 in Copa do Brasil and Upcoming Schedule

The Fluminense squad received three days off after beating Sampaio Corrêa again, last Wednesday (23), and qualifying for the round of 16 of the Copa do Brasil. The decision, in fact, was already programmed by the board and technical committee.

Therefore, the squad will only return to training on Sunday (26) at CT Carlos Castilho. Fluzão’s next match is on Wednesday (29), against Alianza Lima (PER), in the sixth and final round of the Libertadores group stage. With 11 points, Flu is already guaranteed the first place in Group A.

As for the Brasileirão, the next game scheduled is against Juventude, on the 1st, at Maracanã. Tricolor, in fact, will have a series of several commitments in Rio de Janeiro ahead of them. Of the next eight duels, seven are scheduled to take place in the capital of Rio. The only game away from RJ should then take place against Cruzeiro, in the tenth round of the Brasileirão, on June 19th. Flu comes 17th in the tournament.
