Oldenburg – Almost two weeks after being eliminated in the playoff qualification against the Hamburg Towers (81:93), the EWE Baskets Oldenburg have set the course for the upcoming season in the Basketball Bundesliga. “His strength is his versatility; he can be used in several positions,” explains Srdjan Klaric, Oldenburg’s sporting director. The 2.01 meter tall Rode, who comes from Liberty University in Virginia, can be used on both the small and large wing. The Baskets are the 24-year-old’s first stop in Europe.
