This year too the community of Villamagna gathers around the village festival organized in collaboration with the Proloco and with the patronage of the Municipality of Bagno a Ripoli. The appointment is for Sunday 12 May, with a third edition of “Al Dì di Festa” full of events and initiatives. There will be no shortage of craft, hobby, street food, art, music and entertainment stalls. But “Al Dì di Festa” is also much more: the social and community character of the event is increasingly reconfirmed, thanks to the presence of numerous associations for civil and social rights, important local inclusion and assistance entities that promote the themes of peace, ecology, cultures, and the testimonies of organizations operating at a national and international level. And then, on the calendar, walks in the countryside, artistic happenings, lots of good music. Below is the full programme.
10.00am-7.00pm: Market stalls and street food in the streets of the town.
Mercatutto Swap for children – free exchange of games/books in the gardens.
10.00am-7.00pm: Painting performance by the artist Francesco Battaglini and the students of the Academy of Fine Arts.
10.00 am – 5.00 pm: On horseback! Saddle baptism with horses and ponies by the Riding Florence stables.
11.00-13.00: “Discovering the treasures of the hills: burraia cave and waterfalls”. Excursion suitable for families in collaboration with the Bagno a Ripoli Trekking Group. Meeting point: Villamagna square at 11.00 am. Boots with sculpted soles, water bottle, recommended poles.
10.00-13.00: “The Mammut”, Giant board game by Simonetta.
Naturalgiocare: Agata offers its group games and workshops for the little ones. In collaboration with Custodi Digitali Toscana.
11.30 am: Inauguration of new gardens, music and speeches.
“Tarabaralla” Alessandro Giobbi, Serena Moroni: songs and ditties of the Tuscan tradition from the Middle Ages to today.
3.00 pm: Presentation of colored benches by the Peace and Rights Commission of the Municipality of Bagno a Ripoli.
3.00 pm: Blues Woods in concert – Blues, Swing, Jazz and Reggae (Francesco Pinzani, vocals; Maurizio Piccioli, guitar; Alessandro Boschetto, sax; Ugo Nativi, drums).
3.00 pm: Demonstration by the Judo Bagno a Ripoli sports group.
4.00 pm: Laughter Yoga with Francesca Ghione and Gabriella Bigi. “When you laugh, you change; when you change, the world around you changes.”
5.00 pm: Speeches from the Assopace Palestine Association and the Selma Committee.
Ore 17.30: Back to Back – Xandra e Paolosky Dj Set.
The Italian Red Cross will be present at the Bagno a Ripoli Committee with a free HCV screening service.
