Cole Ragans Dominates as Kansas City Royals Extend Winning Streak to Six Games

Cole Ragans allowed just one hit in six innings and the Kansas City Royals won a sixth straight game on Wednesday, inflicting an 8-3 loss on the Detroit Tigers.

The 26-year-old left-hander struck out 12 batters, helping his team earn their seventh win in eight games.

Ragans (4-3) gave up a single to Riley Greene in the sixth, with two outs. He also allowed three walks.

Freddy Fermin hit a one-run double and a two-run single.

Nelson Velazquez hit a solo home run for the Royals.

Maikel Garcia, his team’s first hitter, lodged a ball to safety in a 10th consecutive game.
