Coahuila Athletes Shine in Archery World Cup Qualifications in South Korea

The people from Coahuila, Dafne Quintero and Sebastián García, placed themselves as the best Mexicans in the compound bow qualification phase, within the Archery World Cup held in Yecheon, South Korea.

THIS IS HOW IT WAS FOR THE COAHUILENSES IN THE WORLD CUP

Dafne Quintero finished in ninth place with 704 points, while Sebastián García ranked 13th with 710 points; Dafne went “bye” to the second round, while Sebastián will face the Frenchman Víctor Bouleau in the first round.

With this result, the Coahuila duo will join together to face the Olympic round for mixed teams, where they qualified in fifth place with 1,414 points; They will face the Philippines in their first match.

For women’s teams, Dafne Quintero, Esmeralda Sánchez and Andrea Becerra qualified fourth with 2096 points and will face Turkey in the quarterfinals; while Sebastián García, along with Juan del Río and Máximo Méndez, placed tenth with 2098 units and will face France in the first round.
