Club Brugge Players Enjoy Day Off Before Anderlecht Match

Club players have Wednesday off and will not go into isolation for Anderlecht

Business as usual at the Belfius Basecamp, where the Club players gathered on Tuesday for a pre-season training. And in the meantime, wait for an update on Thiago.

Another (almost) full training week for Club Brugge: they have six days to prepare for the match against Anderlecht. A follow-up training was planned on Tuesday at the Belfius Basecamp, where an update on Thiago’s injury is also being prepared. A scan was required today to map the damage to his right knee.

The entire selection will get a day off on Wednesday, from Thursday the focus will shift entirely to Anderlecht. Club then has three full group training sessions before the crucial match in the Lotto Park. Nicky Hayen will also give a final press chat on Friday.

By the way, Club is not going into isolation for the ‘final’ against the Purple & White: it will leave Sunday morning from Westkapelle towards Brussels, where there is a last tactical meeting on the program and something will be eaten. After a moment of rest, the players bus then drives towards the stadium. (jve)
