On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between France and China, a badminton sports meeting was held on Sunday May 5 on the LyonTech-La-Doua campus in a gymnasium on the INSA Lyon side.
Co-organized by the Nouvel Institut franco-chinois, Claude Bernard Lyon 1 University and INSA Lyon, this friendly badminton match pitted teams from East China Normal University (ECNU) against a mixed team from University Lyon 1 & INSA Lyon. This event took place in the presence of WANG Yihan, Badminton World Champion in 2011.
This meeting, which was distinguished by its fair play and good humor, celebrated with dignity the 60 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries, and is in line with the presidential visit of XI Jinping on 6 and 7 May 2024.
