In the first round of the NBA playoffs, the New York Knicks, Indiana Pacers and Cleveland Cavaliers are each leading with 3-2 victories after five games of the best of seven series. In the Milwaukee Bucks’ duel with the Indiana Pacers, the Bucks prevented the early play-off exit in the North American professional basketball league with a score of 115:92. After the second win, the team of star Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is still missing due to injury, still has a chance of reaching round two.

The Knicks gave up a seemingly certain victory in Madison Square Garden; they were still six points ahead against the Philadelphia 76ers with 29 seconds left. Tyrese Maxey (46 points) finally equalized with a three-pointer almost from the halfway line and forced overtime, in which he scored further points for the Knicks’ 106:112 defeat and made a sixth game in the series possible. Cleveland, with Donovan Mitchell as the most successful thrower (28 points), beat the Orlando Magic 104:103.
