Things have been comparatively quiet around Boris Becker in the last few months, before an alleged new job for the tennis legend caused a stir: According to this, the 56-year-old is taking part in a reality show for Netflix that takes place in the jungle.
However, Boris Becker was first spotted on the beach in Costa Rica. Not for the first time, a large bump on his elbow catches the eye.

As the “Daily Mail” speculates, Boris Becker traveled to Costa Rica to take part in “Bear Hunt”. Filming could therefore start soon. Boris Becker’s fiancée Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro was also spotted on the beach; the two went for a walk.

Also in the “Daily Mail”, the medical correspondent for the “Times”, Dr. Mark Porter, gives an assessment of the star’s elbow. Accordingly, it is a well-known phenomenon: “They are often the size of a golf ball, but if you look closely, this one is appropriately the size of a tennis ball.”
Specifically, we are talking about olecranon bursitis, i.e. inflammation of the elbow bursa. This causes a small bag of tissue above the tip of the elbow to become inflamed and eventually swell. According to Porter, Becker is a benign case.
Boris Becker enjoyed cooling off in the sea, and apparently a little relaxation is in order before filming on Netflix. He later changed from blue swimming trunks to a white T-shirt and black sweatpants.

“Bear Hunt” is definitely going to be an adventure for the former tennis ace, because here the British documentary filmmaker and survival expert Bear Grylls hunts down celebrities who are hiding in the South American jungle.
In addition to Becker, other big names are being considered for the format, including the Spice Girl Mel B. There is no exact release date yet, but Netflix has announced the launch for 2025. So a little patience is still required.
