Barcelona have decided to sack coach Xavi. The club announced this in a statement. “President Joan Laporta has communicated to Xavi Hernandez – it is written in the note – that he will not be the club’s manager in the 2024-’25 season”. The coach will lead the team on Sunday in the last match of the championship against Sevilla and then he will leave.
Meanwhile, rumors are increasing about the possible arrival of former Germany coach Hansi Flick on the Blaugrana bench. There could be an official announcement on Monday.
