Adriana Castillo will seek to join the Mexican national team heading to the Asunción 2025 Junior Pan American Games

SAN SALVADOR, El Salvador.- Baja Californian Adriana Castillo set two new records in the U-21 compound modality at the 2024 Pan American Youth and Master Championship, an event in the Archery discipline that takes place in San Salvador.

Castillo established a new record with a score of 697 individually and as a mixed team, where he achieved the second record with 1,389 points, alongside the Yucatecan, Elías Reyes.

Individual brand is broken

The brand individually took a decade to break, after Stephanie Salinas established it in 2014.

The Baja California native will seek to win her place and join the Mexican team in women’s doubles, along with fellow Cachanilla Ximena Estrada, for the Asunción 2025 Junior Pan American Games.

While in the men’s category also in the Under 21 composite category, Carlos Flores managed to position himself in second place among the Mexicans, which allows him to seek a place towards the Pan American in Asunción with the Yucatecan Elías Reyes.
