▶ «ANATOMY OF STRENGTH TRAINING WITH KETTLEBELLS: illustrated guide to improve strength, mobility and performance».

Unlike a dumbbell or barbell, in which the weight is distributed evenly at both ends, the kettlebell has an asymmetrical design and a displaced center of gravity. Compensating for uneven loading requires you to exert greater effort when performing the exercise, thereby increasing strength, mobility, and stability. In this book you will examine 50 exercises in depth, with color anatomical illustrations showing the primary and secondary muscles and connective tissues used in their execution.

You will also find step-by-step instructions on how to perform the exercise, safety tips, and variations to modify it according to your needs and goals. The “Exercise Approach” section shows how these apply to specific sports and activities. In addition, the chapter dedicated to mobility exercises will help you reestablish the neuromuscular patterns necessary for your training session, to help you move better and prepare for subsequent training.
