The Autonomous University of Aguascalientes has everything ready to receive the sports program of the National Universiade 2024, from May 11 to 28. This edition of the greatest student sports event in Mexico includes the presence of 10 thousand participants and, for the first time in its history, it will be held with 30 disciplines, under the call of the National Council of Sports in Education (Condde).
Nearly 70 student-athletes make up the representative delegation of Cetys Universidad, which will compete in the disciplines of Men’s 3×3 Basketball, Taekwondo, Judo, Chess, Women’s Basketball, Archery, Fencing, Women’s Tochito, Men’s and Women’s Indoor Volleyball, as well as like Athletics.
“To our student-athletes and our dozen coaches and physical trainers, we wish you the greatest success, that you confirm the achievements obtained in past editions and that the reappearance of other disciplines is more than fruitful,” said Jessica Ibarra Ramonet, Director State of Sports and Vice-Rector of Development and Student Experience of the Cetys University System.
For his part, Manuel Merodio Reza, Executive Secretary of the Condde, highlighted the coordination under which this event has been organized, “we have a great sports program with 30 disciplines, joint work with the country’s higher level institutions, public and private. “They have given us this great National Universiade 2024.”
