Denver Nuggets Fall Short in Game 7, Eliminated from 2024 NBA Playoffs

I Denver Nuggets I am officially out of the 2024 NBA Playoffs. After having recovered the series against Minnesota, winning two games on enemy soil, Mike Malone’s team didn’t have the strength to close the score, dragging Anthony Edwards until Game 7. A bad idea that turned into a truly burning defeat, arrived in the night. Nikola Jokic, bastion of the Colorado team, tried to explain the reasons for the elimination in this way:

“They’re built to beat us, in a way. Look at their roster: they have two All-Stars, two great defenders, among the best in the league. Mike Conley is probably the most underrated player in the NBA. He’s so good. He didn’t shoot well in this game but, at one point, he was their best rebounder. Then, on the bench, they have the sixth man of the year (Naz Reid), but also Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Kyle Anderson. This team can do everything: play high, play low. As they want.”

Disappointment also for Mike Malone:

“We played until June last year. We played a lot. We fielded our best players until the last game of the regular season, unlike last year, to secure second place in the Western Conference. So I think mentally and physically we were exhausted. They gave me everything they could. And now? We have to come back even stronger.”
