The “Archers de Montgiscard” association is ready to host a national archery event in the Lauragais region. With 21 years of experience, this association is organizing an event which will bring together 850 competitors from all over France.
The organizers have meticulously designed wooded courses that promise a unique combination of technicality, pleasure and environmental discovery. From May 17 to 19, participants will compete thanks to the support of 3 municipalities. Indeed, 2 competition courses will be located in Montgiscard, 2 others in Deyme and the organization village in Donneville.
Ahead of the competition, fans will be able to watch the archers train at the Donneville stadium and enjoy various planned activities. An introductory archery stand will be available as well as a craft market. In the evening, musical festivities, notably bandas, will enliven the podiums where the champions of France will be honored.
The club returned from the 2023 French championship during which it won a total of six medals with its twenty qualifiers. This national event therefore represents a new opportunity for the Archers of Montgiscard to shine and introduce the public to the passion and talent that drive their community.
