[다경뉴스=백두산 기자] On May 22, the Gyeongsangbuk-do Cheongsong Office of Education held the 9th Educator’s Cup Badminton Competition at the Cheongsong National Sports Center, with approximately 200 elementary, middle, and high school faculty and staff from 17 schools and 15 teams in attendance.

The competition on this day was promoted with the purpose of promoting friendship and unity among faculty and staff working at schools, education support offices, and libraries in Cheongsong jurisdiction, and to strengthen communication and harmony through sports activities. Guests such as provincial and county council members attended and graced the occasion.
Under the slogan ‘Communication, Empathy, and Harmony Rally with Shuttlecock’, the game was divided into 1 and 2 parts considering the size of the school and the number of students, and in particular, preliminary matches were held simultaneously on 12 courts to encourage participants to demonstrate their badminton skills that they had prepared so far. It was a time of competition and unity at the same time.

As a result of the match, Cheongsong Elementary School won the first division, and in the second division, the combined team of Gyeongsangbuk-do Cheongsong Office of Education and Gyeongsangbuk-do Office of Education Cheongsong Library had the honor of winning each division.
Superintendent Shin Deok-seop gave a message of harmony, saying, “I hope that this event will become a place of communication and harmony where the educational family, who are precious grains of wheat in realizing the evergreen Cheongsong education where life grows with unwavering warm love and interest, participates together.”
