Zverev made his place in the round of 16 clear with a win over the Austrian Sebastian Ofner (6:3, 6:4).
The German tennis number one after the victory: “That was completely fine for the first match on clay.” And: “Sebastian played very well, so I’m happy that I’m one round further.”
Tsitsipas had no problems at all in his last game, sweeping away Argentina’s Tomas Martin Etcheverry (6:1, 6:0).
