Mexico City, (leones.mx).-April 10, 2024.- This Tuesday, April 8, the presentation of the 2024 season of the Mexican Baseball League took place in Mexico City. The day of activities began at 4:00 pm with Media Day where our manager Roberto “El Chapo” Vizcarra attended to the media that were present at the event, where he emphasized his motto to direct “Pitching and defense are those who win championships” and maintaining firm “We are ready and prepared to start the season” our manager made it clear that he greatly appreciates the support and trust of the Yucatecan fans and equally of the press who are in charge of disseminating the exploits of the team.
The Media Day concluded with a group photo of all the team leaders for this upcoming season.
Then there was a reception where the uniforms of all the clubs for this season were presented and sponsors, team owners, managers, press and special guests witnessed the official presentation of the start of the 2024 Season where the Executive President of the LMB mentioned the achievements that have been achieved such as the first season of the Mexican Softball League, the third place of the Mexican National Team in the World Classic, the first edition of the Baseball Champions League, the Mexican Winter League and the LMB show that consists of including the stadiums in events such as concerts, etc., ended his participation by wishing all the teams much success this season.
Alberto Guadarrama was in charge of mentioning the campaigns that will be implemented this season

In the same way, the Playball singing start dates were remembered: April 11, the champion of the 2023 season and the rest of the teams on April 12. The all-star game from May 24 to 26, the playoffs from August 3 to September 1 and the long-awaited King’s Series from September 3 to 11.
Gabriel Medina mentioned that this season will be one of the best since there is a lot of talent on the field.
For a better show the LMB will implement new rules
- 93 regular season games
- 6 clubs qualify for each zone
- The use of stopwatches will continue to maintain a playing time of less than three hours
