In the women’s category Paula Mateos in -40 kg and Helena de Castro in -44 kg They suffered the bad trick of their nerves. Instead, Alba Sánchez in +52 kg reached the final fights, winning a creditable bronze.

By the Judo Morales club, Cristian García at -34kg He made the cut in his league and was only one fight away from fighting for the medals and Joel Martín had a very close fight in his league so much so that they were tied and had to repeat it, both of them had great fights. Javier Diéguez and Daniel Manso -42kg They were not able to overcome their league either, but they fought without giving up anything until the end with a very positive attitude.

Joel Esteban and Bertrán Vidal +55kg They were impressive facing children with much more experience than them and they were not intimidated, they took the step forward and competed head to head against their opponents. As for the female category, Celia Hernández and Ariadna Martín -40kg, They were also one match away from fighting for the medals. Was Lidia Coco-32kg who won the bronze medal performing some very good fights and doing “electric” Judo.

The silver went to Oliver Gómez -42kg who won the medal by performing a very intelligent Judo and only losing the final by decision, neither of them managed to score in the combat time and to Gonzalo Bragado in -46kg.
