Wimpassing Judoka Dominate ASKÖ State Championship with Seven Titles

Wimpassing’s judoka had home advantage at the ASKÖ state championship. The Violets’ young fighters won seven titles. In the U10, Halid Irasiyev (-34 kilos) and Liya Yildirim (-46 kilos) won.

In the U12 category, Magdalena Klöckl (-32 kilos), Marlene Lechner (-40 kilos) and Gor Hakobjan (-34 kilos) won gold. In the U14, Yurik Hakobyan won with two Ippon successes. Ilvie Brunner took on the male competition in the class up to 46 kilos, prevailed against the boys and was crowned ASKÖ national champion.

Silver medals for Wimpassing were won by Abdullah Irasijev (U10, -30 kilos), Demyd Chystykov (U10, -34 kilos), Lino Fank (U10, -46 kilos), Vanessa Supin (U12, -32 kilos), Skadi Brunner (U12, -40). kilos), Tyler Kerber (U12, -34 kilos), Fatih Balikci (U12, -55 kilos) and Sophia Frey (U14, -34 kilos).
