The Latvian hockey spring has always been characterized by scandals of various scales. This year, long before the first game of the world championship, the goalkeeper of the NHL team Columbus “Blue Jackets” Elvis Merzlikins, who stated at the beginning of the training camp, in the first and only conversation with Latvian journalists, that the media created such an Elvis, as he did not actually exist. In order to try to understand what are the causes of the hockey player’s offense and how it will be reflected in the performance of the Latvian national team, this time we only spoke to journalists.
