And where do the rumors about an early end in the Euroleague come from? “There is currently a restructuring process at the Euroleague,” explains Ojeda. “It hasn’t been completed yet and of course we’ll wait and see. There are also other interested parties in the Euroleague. And everyone is trying to play their cards right now.”

But the Berliners shouldn’t have a season like this again next year. “Five wins are definitely not enough,” Ojeda admits honestly. “Even though there were some games that we only narrowly lost, like recently against league leaders Real Madrid.”
