UECS from Nine States Join Forces in Xalapa for Kidnapping Prevention Workshop

At the facilities of the Specialized Unit in Combating Kidnapping, the State Attorney General participated in the inauguration of the Course-Workshop called “Analysis as an Essential Tool in the Fight against Kidnapping”, aimed at public servants from Specialized Units in Combating Kidnapping. (UECS) from different States, as well as the personnel of the Criminal Investigation Agency of the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic and the Information Analysis Unit of the FGE.

The course-workshop is taught by representatives of the National Anti-Kidnapping and High Impact Crimes Coordination (CONASE), officials of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), of the United States Department of Justice, members of the Coatzacoalcos AC Citizen Observatory, a Judge of Control and Oral Criminal Procedure of the Eleventh Judicial District of Xalapa, as well as personnel from the companies AT&T Comunicaciones Digitales S. DE RL DE CV and Neolinx de México.

In his welcome message, the General Director of the UECS Veracruz highlighted the main objective of the course-workshop: to acquire more and better tools for the frontal fight against kidnapping, strengthening investigative acts.
For her part, the State Attorney General highlighted the historical commitment of Veracruz as a land of transcendental agreements and pacts that have marked the course of Mexico, and highlighted the coordinated work with the National Anti-Kidnapping and High Impact Crimes Coordination (CONASE) for the benefit from Mexico and Veracruz.

The head of the autonomous organization called to strengthen analytical capabilities and promote collaboration and coordination between all UECS, prioritizing the institutional relationship. She also urged to make the most of the valuable opportunity to share knowledge and actions for more effective results in the fight against kidnapping. Finally, she assured that, with the knowledge acquired and the determination of each public servant, the crime of kidnapping will continue to be faced effectively, thus strengthening social peace, seeking justice.

The course will take place on April 10 and 11 of this year, addressing various topics focused on combating the crime of kidnapping.
The Heads of the UECS of Tlaxcala, Tabasco, Yucatán, Veracruz and Querétaro participated, as well as Prosecutors, Analysts and Investigators of the UECS of Campeche, Chiapas, San Luis Potosí, Puebla and Tamaulipas, from the Criminal Investigation Agency of the FGR and staff of the FGE Information Analysis Unit.
