Tyrese Haliburton’s Clutch Shot Secures Victory for Pacers in Overtime Thriller

MWith a three-pointer 1.6 seconds before the end of overtime, Tyrese Haliburton helped his Indiana Pacers to a 121:118 home win over the Milwaukee Bucks in the play-offs of the North American basketball league NBA. Haliburton converted the throw despite a foul on him and converted the bonus free throw for the final score. The Pacers are leading 2-1 in the best of seven series in the Eastern Conference duel.

The Bucks, who were once again without their superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, were led by Khris Middleton. The 32-year-old scored 42 points and saved his team into overtime with a three-pointer.

In the Western Conference, the Minnesota Timberwolves are just one win away from promotion. With the 126:109 away win at the Phoenix Suns, the series is now 3-0 for the “Wolves”. Anthony Edwards led the Timberwolves with 36 points. The team from Minneapolis is on the verge of its first win in a playoff series since 2004.

In Texas, the Dallas Mavericks took a 2-1 lead against the Los Angeles Clippers. They won their first home game against the Californians 101:90 and want to do it again on Sunday (local time) in front of their own fans. Luka Doncic narrowly missed a triple-double with 22 points, ten rebounds and nine assists.
