Competing in the Turkish Women’s Basketball League for the third time Manisa‘s only women’s basketball team, Lidya Garden City Turgutlu Municipality Women’s Basketball Team, completed the 2023-2024 season. Turgutlu team also managed to get the play-off ticket, which it had been aiming for since the beginning of the season. Facing strong teams, Lidya Garden City Turgutlu Municipality Women’s Basketball Team demonstrated its difference in the women’s basketball community by signing many matches and social responsibility projects that left their mark on the season. The team won 17 out of 30 matches and closed the season in seventh place with 47 points. Lidya Garden City Turgutlu Municipality Women’s Basketball Team, which managed to qualify for the play-off matches it targeted in TKBL, supported Turgutlu and ManisaHe successfully represented.

Municipality Women’s Basketball Team Head Coach İstemihan Örücü said, “We have completed the 2023-2024 season of the Turkish Women’s Basketball League and achieved our goal of going to the play-offs. We left our mark on the season by winning exciting matches. It was a season in which we gained important experiences. Like every team, we also played games. “We really wanted to have our name written in the -off semi-finals and final matches. We will continue where we left off with the same goal in the next season.
