A resounding success for the Judo Club La Maddalena: young athletes triumph at the regional championships.
The island team collected medals at the regional championships for the rookies and the grand prix very young with the pre-competitors, held on Sunday 7 April.
The team, made up of 4 competitors and 4 pre-competitors, demonstrated all its value on the tatami. Taking home a total of 2 gold medals. Thus winning the title of regional champions. Nicole Pisano e Burlaka Maria they graduated regional champions. Thanks to their impeccable performances, which saw them achieve victory with ippon.
The other members of the team were no exception, bringing home 3 silver medals. Andrea Sechi, Artus Kalanka e Alessandro Gala they gave their all and were rewarded with the second step of the podium. Furthermore, two bronzes went to Cristian Sechi e bSardinianwho have proven to be noteworthy with their performances on the tatami.
Also worthy of mention is the competitive debut of Leonardo Dongwho unfortunately lost the final for third place, but proved to have talent and determination.
The team was followed with attention and dedication by the teacher Antonio Ison by the coach Roberto Giudice and Margherita Isoni, who contributed to the success of the team with their experience and competence.
