Toronto loses last home game of the season

The Toronto Raptors lost their last home game of the National Basketball Association (NBA) season on Tuesday (local time). After two wins in a row, the injured Jakob Pöltl’s team suffered a 123:140 defeat against the Indiana Pacers, who are currently in sixth place in the Eastern Conference. The Canadians, who did not qualify for the play-offs, end the season with three away games.

In the Western Conference, the fight for first place is still open. The Minnesota Timberwolves won 130:121 against the Washington Wizards thanks to 51 points from Anthony Edwards, and the Denver Nuggets triumphed 111:95 over the Utah Jazz. This means both teams are level. There will be a direct duel on Wednesday (local time).
