Like all of the other 17 current first division teams, the Tigers Tübingen have also applied for a license for the new season in the Basketball Bundesliga. The second division clubs Bremerhaven, Frankfurt, Gießen, Jena, Karlruhe and Trier are also applying, reports the league headquarters in Cologne. In the future, a minimum budget of 3.5 million euros will be required for the first time. The license league committee will decide on the applications on May 14th.
