Thorsten Fink: The Next Big Move to a Top Belgian Club?

What if Thorsten Fink left Sint-Truiden for a top Belgian club this summer? According to Nieuwsblad, the German coach is in the sights of two major Belgian clubs. For the moment, however, we do not yet know the identity of these two clubs.

This summer, Club Brugge, Antwerp and La Gantoise should all change coaches for different reasons. We can therefore easily imagine that Fink appears on the list of one or two of these three clubs.

It must be said that the German coach has done a superb job since his arrival in Sint-Truiden last summer. In particular, it allowed several young Belgian talents to blossom. We think in particular of Matte Smets, Jarne Steuckers, Mathias Delorge and Rein Van Helden.

Great experience

Since becoming coach in 2008, Fink has traveled quite a bit. He has notably coached in Germany (FC Ingolstadt and Hamburg), in Switzerland (FC Basel and Grassopher Zurich), in Cyprus (APOEL Nicosia), in Austria (Austria Vienne), in Japan (Vissel Kobe), in the United Arab Emirates (Al Nasr SC) and therefore in Belgium.
