It is an open secret. Paul Pogba and José Mourinho are not the best friends in the world. When the Frenchman was under the Portuguese at Manchester United between 2016 and 2018, their relationship was not smooth sailing.
“The season after France won the 2018 World Cup, I think Paul (Pogba) came back different. The World Cup took him to a dimension where football was not the most important thing for him,” Mourinho said in an interview with the Telegraph when asked about his former player, today suspended after his positive testosterone test last August.
“It happens to almost everyone at certain times in your career: you lose a little sense of who you are and what you should be,” added the former Real Madrid coach who assured that he was not happy of Paul Pogba’s current situation. The “Special One” has not yet found a club since his dismissal from AS Roma last January.
