The RCR PRO Replica Decathlon AG2R Team bicycle has been designed and developed by aerodynamicists and experts from Van Rysel, Decathlon’s road cycling expert brand, to achieve a perfect balance between aerodynamics, lightness and rigidity.
By applying computational fluid mechanics and expertise from ONERA, a French aerospace laboratory, fifteen different profiles have been optimized to maximize the performance of the RCR structure. Each component has been carefully evaluated in a wind tunnel, using laser tomoscopy technology to analyze airflow and improve its aerodynamic efficiency.

COCKPIT
The cockpit of the RCR PRP has been developed in collaboration with DEDA to improve aerodynamics, reducing the front surface and guaranteeing optimal ergonomics at the three support points (levers, top of the handlebars and curves). The hoses are fully integrated for a clean look.

DISC BRAKES
SHIMANO DURA ACE disc brakes with 160 mm discs at the front and 140 mm at the rear. In addition, they are hydraulic so the braking is more progressive and powerful.
