The exhibition on Ayrton Senna presented, opens on April 24th in Turin – F1

A space of 1500 square meters with an architecture that plays between metals and glass to tell the story of Ayrton Senna. The exhibition dedicated to the former F1 driver was presented at the Brazilian embassy in Rome, 30 years after his death. An exhibition that will be open to the public from Wednesday 24 April to Sunday 13 October in the spaces of the MAUTO – National Automobile Museum, in Turin.

“Ayrton Senna Forever” will host 253 objects in an exhibition space that will show off all the driver’s suits and helmets, up to the cars he drove throughout his career starting from karts and including the 1988 McLaren Honda MP4/4, only for today and tomorrow parked in the courtyard of the Brazilian embassy. “I am honored by this day – is the debut of Renato Mosca, Brazilian ambassador to Italy -.

Senna was one of the most important F1 drivers and we are here to remember his memory. A successful memory, dedicated to motoring, but also to society and its Brazil. He was a man who thought about people and will always be in our hearts.”

“We brought to the exhibition the desire to give an interpretation that goes beyond the sporting and human aspect, it has a profound cultural impact because it deserves it – the words of Benedetto Camerana, president of MAUTO – His tragic death projected him into the dimension of a star, one of the greatest figures of the past century.” In the exhibition, however, there will not only be the portrait of the beatified Senna, “but also of the human profile, of the man with suffering on his face”, underlined the curator Carlo Cavicchi.

Conclusions entrusted to Bianca Senna, CEO of Senna Brands and granddaughter of the driver: “Brazil and Italy have in common the respect and admiration for Ayrton and the legacy he built. The exhibition encourages us to remember his parable on and off the track, and which is still a source of inspiration for all of us today.”
