Team Chile Shines at the I Bolivarian Youth Games in Sucre

This Friday was the second day of the I Bolivarian Youth Games.

The appointment takes place in the Bolivian city of Sucre.

Team Chile had an important participation in this day.

BADMINTON

Ladies quarterfinals: Rosa Quilodrán defeated the Colombian Sara Hurtado 21-14, 17-21 and 23-21.

Men’s quarterfinals: Nicolás Monee defeated Bolivian Gabriel Rosales 21-17 and 21-16.

Ladies quarterfinals: Camila Astorga fell 4-21 and 7-21 against the Peruvian Fernanda Munar.

Men’s doubles quarterfinals: Nicolás Mone and Bruno Mora defeated the Bolivians Gabriel Rosales and Romel Colque 21-13 and 21-11.

Mixed doubles quarterfinals: Nicolás Mone and Rosa Quilodrán fell 15-21 and 12-21 against Colombians Sara Hurtado and Sergio Zapata.

Mixed doubles quarterfinals: Camila Astorga and Bruno Mora fell 16-21 and 15-21 to Colombians Laura Galeano and Nicolás Morales.

HANDBALL

Women’s competition: Chile defeated Peru 42-11 and Bolivia 53-7, both games in the group stage.

VASCA BALL

Frontón 36 meters hand, classification: Marcos Loaiza fell 4-10 and 2-10 against the Peruvian Jesús Poma.

Women’s frontenis, classification: Florencia Peña and Mónica Escalona defeated the Venezuelans Victoria Febres and María Gabriela Gómez 15-9 and 15-8.

Women’s frontenis, classification: Florencia Peña and Mónica Escalona fell 5-15 and 4-15 against the Peruvians Grecia Febres and Nicole Armestar.

Men’s fronttenis, classification: Renato Bolelli defeated Bolivian José Víctor Cardozo 10-2 and 10-1.

Ladies frontball, classification: Kemberly Horta defeated the Bolivian Ruby Bejarano by a double 10-7.

Men’s frontball, classification: Renato Bolelli won 10-0 and 10-1 against Peruvian Jhojan Quinto.

Ladies frontball, classification: Kemberly Horta fell 3-10 and 2-10 against Venezuelan Rosmaris León.

Fronton 36 meters hand, classification: Marcos Loaiza fell 2-10 and 1-10 against the Bolivian Jherson Laura.

In women’s frontball, Chile will compete for bronze while in women’s fronttenis and men’s frontball, our country will compete for gold.

BEACH VOLLEYBALL

Ladies, preliminary round: Luna Álvarez together with Martina Salvatierra fell 1-2 (16-21 and 19-21) against the Peruvians Estephanie Castillo Aybar and Mishelle Gomez Leon.

Men, preliminary round: Jorge Brain and Vicente Belmar defeated Panamanians Bernardo Madrid Castillo and Yostin Gantes Vega 2-0 (21-5 and 21-10).

Men, preliminary round: Jorge Brain and Vicente Belmar defeated the Ecuadorians Javier Avalos Lara and Josmany Bermúdez Tenorio 2-0 (21-12 and 21-14).
