Hornets Defeat Magic 124-115, Ending Losing Streak: Recap of Key Players and Stats

The “Hornets” defeated the Orlando “Magic” basketball players at home with a score of 124:115 (38:23, 29:29, 27:27, 30:36) and ended a streak of four losses.

Bertans spent 19 minutes and 58 seconds on the field, during which he made two of five long-range shots and all three two-point shots. He also had four rebounds, an error, four sacks and a team-worst +/- of -15.

Brandon Miller was the top scorer for the “Hornets” with 32 points, while Miles Bridges added 23 points.

Miller finished the first half hitting all ten of his field goals. Only Stephen Curry in league history has scored at least 25 points in the first half with a perfect record from the field and the free throw line while making at least five three-pointers.

Paolo Benkero collected 32 points, eight rebounds and eight assists for the “Magic” team, while Franz Wagner collected 22 points and seven rebounds.

With 19 wins in 77 games, “Hornets” ranks 13th in the Eastern Conference, while “Magic” is fifth with a record of 45-32.

The next game “Hornets” will play on Sunday, meeting Oklahoma City “Thunder” at home.
