Success for Dragones Caja Rural at Castilla y León Rescue and Lifesaving Absolute Open

This weekend, the Río Esgueva pool in Valladolid hosted the Castilla y León Rescue and Lifesaving Absolute Open. The Dragones Caja Rural team traveled there ready to give everything with their youth and juniors who would try to compete with the senior team.

An event in which Zamorano athletes have achieved the most varied positions, the most notable being the fourth place obtained by the women’s 4×50 hurdles relay team.

Also noteworthy are the 7 positions obtained by Nerea Martín in the 50 tow and Beatriz Ramos in the 100 combined, while Beatriz Ramos was eighth in the 50 tow. In 200 hurdles Beatriz Ramos was 10th and Nerea Martín 12th.

In the relay, the men’s team took ninth position in all the relays except the 4×50 medley, which was seventh.

With these results, Dragones has almost finished the pool season with the Spanish Children’s and Cadet Spring Championships to be held in two weeks, where Irene Calvo will fight defending the Zamorano club. Already at the beginning of May the Spanish Youth Spring Championship in which Beatriz Ramos will leave her grain of sand.

Between the two, the Spanish Spring Beach Cup will take place where Dragones hopes to be able to show, as in previous years, its good level in open water.
