The Auria Badminton Club expedition, made up of Adrián Carabali, Oliver Gausmann, Miguel Barbado, Zeneida Ortiz, Ana María Mesa and Sofía Gómez, traveled to Tenerife on Saturday morning and moved to the Paulino Rivero Baute Municipal Pavilion, in El Sauzal , to play the third day of the National League of Second Division Clubs.

The competition day began for the Auria Bádminton Club in the best way, beating Badfor El Sauzal “A” by a resounding 5-0. The last match of the regular phase was more even, winning by a tight 3-2 against Badfor El Sauzal “B”. With these results, the Auria Bádminton Club led the regular phase of the competition, adding the total number of wins in the eight games played.

The Auria Bádminton Club entered the final phase of the Second Division National Club League, with two tickets at stake to compete in the promotion phase. The Lanzarote team gave no chance of a surprise, beating Badfor El Sauzal “B” 5-0 and winning 4-1 against Universitario.

At the end of the day held in El Sauzal, Adrián Carabali received the sporting values ​​award, rewarding the fair play shown by the Lanzarote player throughout the competition. In addition, the Canarian Badminton Federation presented the Auria Bádminton Club with a plaque of recognition for the effort made to celebrate the third day and final phase of the National Club League, and which had to be canceled in mid-March due to the closure of the sports facilities.
