With the end of winter and the beginning of spring, outdoor archery competitions started again, at a distance of 70 metres. for the Olympic arch division, senior and junior classes, 60 m. for master and student classes, 40 m. for the boys/girls class, 25 m. for the very young class, 50 m. for the Compound and Arco Nudo divisions.
On Sunday 14 April the archers of Arcclub Fossano successfully participated in the competition in Settimo Torinese organized by the Varian Archers.
In the Arco Olimpico division Streri Giovanni won 1st place in the student class followed by Erconi Andrea Van Thanh 2nd and Benedicenti Dario 3rd, together they took 1st place as a team. It should be noted that Erconi also competed on Saturday 13th, reaching the highest podium. Conte Chiara 2nd in the student class followed by Manno Rebecca 3rd. Bertero Lorenzo 1st place in the boys class and Viglietta Federico 3rd.
Streri Beatrice, with an excellent score of 647 points, was awarded 1st place.
The younger ones did very well: Rovera Giacomo, in his first outdoor competition, took 1st place in the very young class, with a surprising score of 661 points, the highest in the entire Olympic Arc division, 2nd place for Bertero Nicolò, also with an excellent score of 646 points, at the foot of the Rovera Tommaso podium and together they took 1st place as a team, Luca Buggiafreddo 5th and Barbero Raffaele 6th.
Beautiful race for Irene De Carlo, also for her first outdoor, finishing 1st in the very young class.
In the Arco Nudo Mellano division Rosanna 1st in the senior class. Barbero Federico performed well in the Compound division, 3rd in the senior class and together with Viglietta Giovanni and Bertero Giorgio they took 1st place as a team. Next important event, for the little ones, Saturday 20 April for the Pinocchio Trophy, winter phase, again in Settimo Torinese.
