Velbert/Ratingen. The Velbert community primary school Nordstadt is participating in the “VegetableAckerdemie” project. The project was funded by Sparkasse HRV. At the beginning of the year, this made a donation pot available for sustainable projects run by non-profit institutions. The community primary school is one of ten institutions that can now look forward to such a donation.
To hand over the donation pledges, Udo Zimmermann, CEO of Sparkasse HRV, welcomed the representatives of the supported institutions – schools in particular were there. From Ratingen, the Ratingen school camp association, the Villa Kunterbund Hösel, the Ratingen Goose Necks baseball and softball club and the support association of the Suitbertusschule Ratingen received support from the Sparkasse.
Udo Zimmermann is pleased about the commitment of the local institutions: “Here, a big topic – sustainability – is being implemented very practically and something is being actively done for the environment. I’m very pleased that we can support this with our donations.”
