The Councilor for Sports, José María Álvarez, attended the Solidarity Children’s Basketball Tournament organized by the Bulevar Sports Club with the collaboration of the Municipal Sports Board, which brought together on Saturday morning some 130 boys and girls (aged 6 to 15 years) of the mini category in the improvised field set up on the Decathlon Jaén esplanade.
The tournament was held to benefit the Association for the Fight against Blood Diseases and brought together a total of 10 teams from the capital and province: CB Pitágoras, Jaén FS Baloncesto, Colegio Veracruz, CP Almadén, CB Villargordo, Sierra Mágina, Mengíbar School, Jódar School, Cazorla School and a team from ALES.
In addition to collecting registration fees, CD Bulevar has given the beneficiary group toys contributed by one of the sponsoring companies. In addition, a zero line has been set up so that those who could not attend would have the opportunity to contribute to the cause.
