Selena Piek from Weesp has reached the last four of the mixed doubles at the European Badminton Championships together with Robin Tabing.
Tabling and Piek defeated the Spanish couple Rubén García/Lucía Rodríguez in the quarter-finals in the German city of Saarbrücken with convincing numbers. Within half an hour it became 21-10 21-11.
In the semi-final battle, the Dutch duo may face Mathias Christiansen and Alexandra Bøje. The Danish couple is placed first.
Debora Jille and Cheryl Seinen reached the quarter-finals of the women’s doubles. They were far too strong for Julia Meyer and Leona Michalski from Germany: 21-13 21-8. Jille and Seinen are placed fourth.
