Two judokas from the club were present at the French Cup in Villebon-sur-Yvette (Essonne) and although they finished unclassified, Charline Serre (3 fights, 2 victories and 1 defeat) and Léa Desphelippon (3 fights, 3 defeats) proudly represented the Bourbonnais club, they who are only minimal first year.

Various departmental competitions took place in parallel at the Cérilly gymnasium with, initially, the 2nd division cadet championship, of which here are the results for the Saint-Pourcinois: 1st and champion of Allier, Juliette Barthoux (-57 kg) and Jona Boucaud (-60 kg); 2nd, Andréa Kruk (-70 kg); unclassified, Mathéo Paulus.

At the Critérium Départemental Benjamins, the club won 7 medals out of 8 participants, the details of which are as follows: 1st and champion of Allier, Lilian Barthoux (-30 kg), Kendra Audinelle (-48 kg), and Inès Caillot (-57 kg ) ; 2nd. Charline Chalmin (-29 kg); 3rd. Oryanne Juge (-36 kg), Chloé Courtinat (-32 kg) and Lino Masson (-26 kg); unclassified, Adrien Bardot.

Finally on the same day, junior Enzo Vito fought in the senior championship, without succeeding in placing in the -73 kg category.

Finally, let us note the emergence of two new black belts at the club (72nd and 73rd) with Léa Honoré who finished completing her points in the so-called “shiai” competition, Saturday March 23, in Andrézieux-Bouthéon (Loire) and Jona Boucaud who also managed to collect 40 points in the same competition, as well as the 10 other points necessary during the championship the next day.

The coach, Guillaume Purseigle, says he is “proud of the current dynamic of the club, but the season is not yet over; there are still important deadlines to come for all age categories.”
