Milan must win by more than one goal
From the 2021/22 season the away goals rule is no longer valid in UEFA club competitions, therefore if Milan were to beat Roma with a one-goal margin, it would go to extra time and, possibly, penalties. Pioli’s team must win with at least a two-goal margin to ensure passage to the next round at the end of the regular 90 minutes.
