Rodionov lost to Zverev in two sets in Munich

Jurij Rodionov was eliminated in the round of 16 of the BMW Open in Munich. On Wednesday, the Austrian had to admit defeat to the Austrian Jurij Rodionov and the number one seeded German Alexander Zverev 6:7 (3/7) 2:6. The game had to be interrupted once for two hours due to rain and again for an hour shortly after the restart.

The fifth in the world rankings ultimately remained confident and lived up to his role as favorite after 1:40 hours of pure playing time. In the round of the best eight he will face the winner of the game Cristian Garin (Chile) against Alex Michelsen (USA). The match could not be played on Wednesday due to bad weather and is now scheduled to take place on Thursday.
