Record demolition. Arsenal put Chelsea to shame in the derby and lead the Premier League

Arsenal footballers outclassed Chelsea 5-0 and scored a record league victory over the London rival in the club’s history. Their highest win to date was 5-1 in 1930.

In addition, thanks to their success at the top of the table, Arsenal have a three-point lead over Liverpool, who, however, have a game to play.

Manchester City is another point back in third place, but the defending champions have even played two games less.

Arsenal took the lead in the fourth minute thanks to Leandro Trossard. The home team decided the win after the break during a wild eighteen-minute game, when Ben White and Kai Havertz scored two goals.

The “Gunners” partially made up for the previous home loss against Aston Villa with a record win in the London derby.

In addition, Chelsea, who are in ninth place in the table, suffered their first league defeat after eight games.
