After the defeats of Perugia and Montegranaro, coach Di Chiara’s boys find their smile again and can best prepare for the playoff quarter-final which will begin next Sunday at home against Sutor Montegranaro.
Svethia starts with the right attitude: Pozzetti is hot from the arc, Reimundo and Sabbatini give substance in the paint and Leopardi immediately +11 (19-7). The fourth ends with Recanati +7 (25-18) and in the second ten minutes of the game the match is effectively decided: good impact on the match by Marzullo and Alfonsi, six consecutive points by Sabbatini and a basket from underneath by Ndzie for a Leopard’s advantage jumps to +19 (46-27).
De facto game on ice and coach Di Chiara can give the senators a breather by also giving useful minutes to Kossowski and Mengarelli. At halftime the scoreboard reads 52-29.
