PSG: the presentation of the Hexagoal trophy will take place on May 12 at the Parc des Princes, after the match against Toulouse

The post-match between PSG and Toulouse, scheduled for Sunday May 12, should be the scene of a great spectacle. After having officially won a 12th French championship title this weekend thanks to the draw at the end of the game against Le Havre (3-3) and the defeat of Monaco in Lyon (3-2) the next day, the Parisians will have the right to their protocol ceremony at the end of the last match of the season at the Parc des Princes. The capital club, in collaboration with the Football League (LFP), targeted this date, that of the last home meeting, to celebrate the title with its supporters.

The “der” of the Hexagoal trophy

We do not yet know the details of the program. We also do not know if personalities are planned to present the Hexagoal trophy on the stage, but the celebration promises to be grandiose and will necessarily be even more so if Paris reaches the final of the prestigious Champions League by dominating Dortmund for five days earlier (May 7).

Last year, the ceremony remained sober due to Sergio Rico’s accident which occurred shortly before. In May 2022, Andriy Shevchenko, legend of European football, honored his presence in Paris, assisted by Bernard Lama and Dominique Rocheteau, two emblematic PSG players. The club is planning a large-scale musical show, which will require rehearsals in advance within the Porte de Saint-Cloud grounds.

Note that the famous Hexagoal will be presented for the last time. At the end of the 2024-2025 season, a new trophy will be created by the League, corresponding to the new visual identity of the League.
