The provincial delegate of Education, Culture and Sports, José Gutiérrez, attended this Sunday the third phase of the Judo Championship of the ‘Somos Deporte 3-18’ program organized by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha, a sporting discipline that has 180 judokas from the province.
It was the town of Talavera that hosted the third phase of this Judo competition in the children’s and cadet categories, which was held at the José Ángel de Jesús Encinas sports center and was followed by the provincial delegate along with athletes and those responsible for the participating teams.
A sports day in which José Gutiérrez congratulated the first places and all the participants in general and who he thanked for the “magnificent response they give to a program as important and so deeply rooted among the schoolchildren of Castilla-La Mancha as the Somos Sport 3-18 to which the Government of Emiliano García-Page has a resounding commitment and, very especially, in this year 2024 in which we are the European Region of Sports. A collective success that we are all enjoying and supporting.”
