Panama achieves three new medals at the 2024 Bolivarian Youth Games in Sucre, this time adding gold, silver and bronze in Judo thanks to Tobit Vergara, Laura de León and Kamilah Campaña, among other athletes who have left the country high.
Panama gets another gold medal
Tobit Vergara won gold in -55kg after facing Venezuelan Leonardo Ibáñez, Gimnasia gave gold to Panama and now Judo does the same.
Panamanian athlete Laura De León added silver in the -44kg, losing in the final against Venezuela and Kamilah Campaña with bronze in the repechage where she faced Bolivia.
